Love and Monsters. A really good Netflix movie. Similar kind of vein as Zombieland but no Zombies. Well worth a watch.

Watched ''Possession'' by Andrzej Zulawski....the story revolves around a love affair between Sam Neill's wife and a tentacled creature she has hidden away.........bizarre to say the least...

I have just finished watching ''A Deadly Union'' a French crime/murder series..........brilliant.

Last night i watched the first show in the new ''Inside No.9'' series....now that was seriously weird...i shall watch it again (as i always do with this prog.).....i find i miss lots of things the first time round...

Arena Doc. ''Delia Derbyshire The Myths And The Legendary Tapes''......wonderful film about the pioneering electronic musician who worked at the BBC Radiophonic Workshop during the 60's .Delving into the 200 plus tapes found in her attic after her death in 2012.There was so much more to her than the Doctor Who theme she helped devise........a fascinating insight to her life......loved the line after being told by an exec.at Decca Records ''we don' have women working in our studios''...........her response was ''probably the guy who turned down The Beatles''.... ;D.......well worth a watch. 8)...

NMA ''40TH ANNIVERSARY GLOBAL GATHERING''............brilliant.....the song choice,energy,quality of film and performance....hard to believe they were not playing before a live audience.....thank you so much for releasing this on DVD....love it  8)...

I'll have to look out that Delia Derbyshire documentary, I've listened to some of  her experimental stuff on YouTube and been very impressed. Her original version of the Dr. Who theme tune is still the best one.

Currently watching a BBC2 documentary about the experimental use of psilocybin to treat depression as an alternative to the likes of prozac. I know which one I'd prefer...

Anyone checked out 'The Nevers' yet?  Seems to be getting some sniffy reviews but I'm up to ep5 and bloody loving it.  Fantasy show set in 1899 London about how a group of (mostly) women are suddenly afflicted with special powers and become the target of a patriachal conspiracy to destroy them.  Also some stuff about a crazy lady serial killer and alien spacecrafts... it's a very lavish production, great performances, full of sex and violence  and somewhat funny as well, what's not to love?   ;D  I'd recommend it....

I like "Inside No.9" - struggling to find the hare in the first 2 episodes.
Even knowing where it was in the first episode, it took a couple of watches to spot it.

Army of the dead...a Netflix film. Pretty gory but also very good...if you like lots of gore and guns  ;)

''Don't Look Back'' a film about Bob Dylan which i have on DVD and watched so so many times but i am still loving watching it again.........probably one of the best music films ever (imho).. 8)....

The Outpost....decent enough film but not much character depth and no warmth to any of them. Pretty much Call of Duty with a bit of acting....shoot, boom, bang.
