The Manchester Chronicles (True Tales Of Music, Madness And Mayhem 1976 - 2008) - Clint Boon.  The keyboard player from Inspiral Carpets, it's part autobiography and part compendium of stories about the Manchester music scene over the decades and, well, this guy has SO many stories about anyone ever connected anyone who was in a band during that time.  I'm a few chapters in and I'm loving it.   :)
