The song I've been composing for one year is now thrashed totally as the application that I've used crashed yesterday. Oh, what a f%/(ng waste of time. That bugger did it second time. I actually started it two years ago and everything happened the same way a year ago. It crashed then and it crashed now again. I'm tired of ages old software that do not run well anymore with these new systems.  >:(

But there's a relief right now in here: I've been aware about the issue for some time already and have bought new software (Sequel, Wavelab and new Steinberg CI1 soundcard). Now I just need a lot of patience and have try to learn to use them overall. I've even thought to hire someone musician who's expert with digital stuff to give me a lesson or two... I have couple of manuals that contain 100 pages but I'd rather have someone explaining to me all the things IRL. All the cables, midi ports, midi interface etc. etc. When I studied in Turku Arts Academy there was also a school for composers in the neighbour. Maybe someone of the students could be interested about the job.

Heya Rusco,
if you really want to use this old software - why not using a second old computer with an old operating system only for these special things?
Works fine for me - the new one for beeing online and new functions and the old one for old software and devices
(my old computer comes with three different os versions and I start what I want- two only offline ore one with updates for antivirus and firewall and the os ...)
And me, I`ve got a black place in my heart
Still got this hole in me
Perhaps - I am the master of nothing?

I was working on the island Greek island  of Kastellorizo with refugee aid. The police and mayor walked into the refugee sleeping hall and forced out 5 women and 12 children. One was pregnant and another elderly. They throw them to the streets and they were found wondering around coast guard station in tears. They do not understand Greek or English only Arabic. They did not know what was going on. The mother's were crying badly and traumatized due to the fascist pricks who run the island. They were brought to clothing distribution center as they had nowhere to go. We had no choice but to comfort crying women and help watch their 12 kids. they gave no warning of this and they would not cooperate with allocating land so that the UN could build a camp. they just booted vulnerable people.

The UN paid for a hotel room and we made food for them and gave them new clothes. They are okay but this was traumatic especially for small kids. I have never been so angry and sad in my life.

Please do not give you tourist money to this island. Please boycott it. I did. I will no longer pay for anything on an island who does this sort of thing.   I am off the Athens to help the thousands stranded there.  I hope the new refugees who arrive shit all over the streets and outside the home of the mayor. It is not like they can do it in an actual toilet or sleep in a building. Maybe then the islanders will get the message. This was pure hatred.

firefox. i can't remember the last version of firefox that wasn't buggy as hell, or indeed one that was an improvement on its predecessor. the flash plug-ins never seem to work for any lenghth of time; script's stop running constantly freezing everything up, and it takes longer and longer to start regardless of how many times i refresh it/strip it down to basics. websites (especially "big" name ones like ebay) seem to use more and more flash content and it's starting to noticeably overheat my pc. i know i need to upgrade my computer some time in the not too distant future, but chrome works ok.....its just a bloody horrible browser and no more secure than internet explorer. >:(

The mood here at work, all the bitching and scheming - it's not like kindergarten, it is a lot worse and it's really dragging people down - and there really is no need for any of it, either.  >:(

Can`t understand that - no problems with firefox and flash here - perhaps you don`t have and need an add-on or a plug-in for firefox - vlc (videolan for firefox)? Adobe shockwave flash isn`t that safe, so the fox doesn`t like it and you have to install and allow it first, if vlc doesn`t do the job

Same here - like the weather in April
Kindergarden, worse, ok and there`s no need to fight against each other and for silly and bad behavior inside a so called team and the others
Most say they hate this mood - but they don`t notice, that they are very busy to creat the things they are complaining  >:(

Today, I'm pissed off because I was going to see Machine Head in Nottingham tonight, but after an early morning 'bare foot / corner of a wardrobe / crack' incident, I've now got a purple toe with a completely split nail and I'm hobbling around my flat being very grumpy indeed... no way I could manage a big standing room only gig...  >:(

Greek fascist groups. We were four adult volunteers and three kids.  We had 500ish people to feed. This little hate group come up and start screaming that we are not wanted. Me and one kid are sitting in van scooping soup out, a 12 year old kid passing out bread outside the van. They start getting loud and shaking the van. They shouted at media cameras. I really hop they got it on film. If they see them hassle a kid, then the world will know that this issue must be addressed. The same or similar group had fire bombed our kitchen in passed.

Ok rant time  !
The budget - the tories rob the disabled to give the middle classes a tax break.
Jamie fcking Oliver gets his puckka way and there is a sugar tax on soft drinks again pandering to daily mail lot yet no raise on alcohol, chocolates sweets cakes etc. The think about the kids mob have won , the truth is of that soft drinks have been around for a long time and none of my generation were over weight difference was we didn't sit in front of a screen all day. Also imo there are far more dangers on the internet than there is with kids out playing like we used to do. The only way to stop childhood obesity is to get kids out taking proper exercise, a sugar tax won't do fck all.

And relax
