I did a stupid thing.. Bought new PA speakers, turned them into toast by running the amp in bridged mode rather than stereo.
Expensive mistake. Hopefully just the tweeters, not sure yet.

Not so good news indeed, but the question is: do you have already any problems or did the doctor find something, that could be a problem in the future? i'm asking, because doctors tend to want to operate problems and maybe you could do something against it with a kneebrace or something..?

Indeed there is. You are giving me optimism with my arthritis problems as I am not as poorly effected as sadly you are. I have lost the cartilage in both big toes, or rather it aint in one piece anymore and not where is should be. I am in constant pain when walking. They want to scrape it all out and fuse the bones together by strapping titanium across the top. Problem is , its three months off work afterwards - per toe.

Hi Shush,it goes without saying you have my deepest sympathy and understanding concerning your condition.I know it is different parts of the body but Arthritis anywhere is a very painful thing...good luck with whatever you decide/have to do...........take care.

Sorry to hear that, mate.  I seem to remember you had problems in that area the very first time we met, Warrington a few years ago, was that related?  If so, sorry it's got worse.  Best wishes, eh?   :-\

No not related as far as I know. My arthritis is just good old fashioned wear and tear. Not the years its the miles, etc.

OK.  New Tool album out next week.  Yay! Now I like a CD as opposed to just downloading an album, so I went to that old internet thing, credit card in hand, ready to hand over my cash...  you know how much their new album on CD costs?  A bog-standard release, no extra tracks or anything?

£79.99.     ???

I thought that was a mistake, so I went all over the internet, but that is indeed the asking price.  And I thought Rammstein asking £22 for their new one was bad!

I could understand 20 - 25 quid for a new album, but they can fook off if they think I'm paying nearly 80 notes for a single CD... that's just greedy.  I don't need their new music THAT bad.  Fook 'em.   >:(

I thought about complaining about that too, but only because there seems to be no normal cd release, only a download option.
The package for 80€ seems to be worth it though, because it features a rechargeable 4k HD Screen !! with exclusive footage, a 2 watt speaker, usb-cable and a 36 page booklet!
So this seems to be a very special and visual approach to the Album-Concept and with that technology in it it is costly, but no option to go only for the music with a stripped down version on cd is what i don't understand, i also prefer a cd instead of a download. So yeah, i love Tool but this mega-special-super-dooper-edition only...why?

Sorry, it is a 4" sized screen, not 4k.
