Personally, whenever i drive into a car park and see a sign saying 'Max Headroom' it reminds me of a blonde headed computer generated guy who was on the telly when i was younger.

My boys don't get it at all!

When it's nearly 9.30 on a summer night and you just want to go to bed but the younger you (who still talks to you in your head sometimes) is shouting 'but it's still light outside...'

is forgetting things part of maturing?

Maybe maturing or ageing.

Maybe self-protection.

Maybe the hard drive just gets full up.

Where are we? Haven't a clue.

Ageing?  Always.

Maturing?  Not a fuckin' chance.   ;)

Take it on the chin and a big f-you to anyone who puts us down for our passing years... those lines on our faces, we've earned them and earned them well via so many amazing times and so many friends that put those 'laughter lines' on our faces. And we still passionately follow our favourite band, decades in... can any kids nowadays hope that their favourites will be around in the 2030's, or even three years from now?  I doubt it...

So, in short, I send my best wishes to all my great friends here on The Mission forum...

Don't glam it up by calling it maturing. Aging is the slow decomposition of the body as it edges ever closer to the day it finally fails. "laughter lines", the skin gets wrinkly as the skin starts to weaken and thin. Just like your bone density decreases causing breaks when you have a fall whereas when you were young, you would have just got up and carried on. Eye sight fails as the eye balls decrease in size, joins turn to powder, teeth fall out, bits drop off

In case you were wondering, I am not enjoying the aging process. :(  all of the above  >:( but nothing has dropped off yet  ;)

Still recovering from Friday night.  Wasn't even a big one; just a few jars...

Oh Shush, sir, you are still a fine figure of a man!  I'm sure your lovely lady wife will agree!

Put it like this, I wouldn't be brave enough to walk around an NMA gig with my shirt off nowadays...   :D
