I had my first tooth removed. I suspect its a downward slope from here and dentures will be popping out at some gig somewhere  ;D

Not a pleasant experience. Molar ? Make sure you keep the socket clean and food free.  Nothing worse than a "dry socket" infection.  :'(

Pre-molar i think its called. Yeah. Currently swilling with salt water and cant eat on that side. Only supposed to eat soft foods too. Surprised at the length of healing time too. Its actually painless. Just inconvenient.

Sounds like its healing OK. If you had a dry socket infection, you would know about it by now. It will close up and then be tender for quite a while. After around six months the bone will have grown over the vacant hole and you will not even notice it has gone.
