When your usual gig-buddy (of about 30 years) gets in touch about forthcoming shows we're interested in seeing and says 'can we find a place with balcony seats?  I'm struggling with stand-up gigs...'

And, much as you love the heat and excitement of being on the floor, near the band, you sort of agree...
