Sega Mega Drive?  Pah, you kids with your new-fangled technology!  ZX Spectrum for me, you don't know gaming unless you've tried to play a game with a rubber keyboard that feels like dead flesh under your fingers and has sound that is just various shades of 'bleep'... oh, and it look several minutes of THIS before you could actually play the bloody game...

The C64?  There was a bit of a schoolyard war between those who had a c64 and the (much cooler) Spectrum people during my schooldays.

I still carry that grudge so, I'm sorry, but we can no longer be friends.

I whiled many a night shift away playing on the mega drive when I was at work on Command and Conquer. Good times.
WW I never really had any hit games that I remember. In fact I cant remember any of the games I had.

No-one has mentioned Binatone!!!

Here you go Ray. I remember my cousins had one of these in the 70s. It seemed like the most mindblowing technology back then !  ;D

Ha! I now recognise that fine game-playing console.   I never had a Binatone but a friend of mine did.  His version also had a gun attached where you could shoot a little square that darted all over the screen... impossible to play, you could never hit the square.

Never owned a wooden puppet but when I was VERY little I had a spinning top... my family had to throw it away because it frightened me.   :-[
