Tonight I've done some excavations on old topics as it's been pretty quiet in the forum..  :)

I just turned 35 this week so I thought this topic was perfect! Not that 35 is old but... Anyway. I was working night shift on my birthday. During nights I also clean around - we finally got rid of the cola vending machine here, and the space under.... It's the small things that makes you feel like wait a second... I'm not very young anymore... Like, I was extatic that I had this new, virginal corner to mop also!  ;D

I know I`m old, but should that be the only reason to buy the new cd of Deep Purple (In Rock was the first lp I had, when I was young) ... ?
And me, I`ve got a black place in my heart
Still got this hole in me
Perhaps - I am the master of nothing?

I seem to remember some comedian saying something about the three stages of a mans life...

STAGE 1 - Oh, you wouldn't believe this girl I was with last night... it was incredible!

STAGE 2 - Oh, you wouldn't believe the restaurant I was at last night... damn, the fish was incredible!

STAGE 3 - Oh, I had the most incredible bowel movement last night...

 ;D

I think it was Barry Cryer who said that he'd reached the age that, when he bent to tie his shoelaces he wondered what else he could do when he was down there.

I could read the smallest print on any label in the supermarket. There was nothing I could not read.

This weekend I bought myself a pair of reading glasses. That hurt. It really did. Still does.

Oh the joy to come when you forget to take your specs to the supermarket , and have to ask a complete stranger (as usually there are no staff to be found) to read label/sell by dates etc.for you.....in many cases someone older than yourself.. ::)....

Having to be careful during gigs... Torn meniscus in both knees, too many pogos and moshpits over the years  :'( Sometimes I forget, resulting in me walking with a crutch(es). Colleague: ''What happened??'' Me: ''Nah, concert... Totally worth it''.

...and right now... Trying to clean up a bit before my colleague comes to switch the shift... Obviously I strecthed my stiff back and arms too much during the night, something's not quite right, getting horrific weird shoulder pains when trying to use my right hand. So, I'm wiping tables while groaning like Chewbacca.
