Too young. :'(
The longer this century goes on, the more I feel I belong in the last one.

Being reported Mani of Stone Roses and Primal Scream has died at 63...  :'(

Sad news indeed.  Mani and Reni are right up there with Rourke and Joyce when it comes to classic indie band rhythm sections.

Actually, Neil Sedaka was a favourite of my Mums when I was a kid so even though I'm not exactly in a rush to listen to his tunes he was something of a big part of my childhood... RIP indeed.

Phil Taylor Motorhead........RIP.

Absolutely gutted, I've made no secret of the fact that Motorhead are one of my very fave bands ever... I had no idea he was ill.

I never saw the original line up of Motorhead live but I saw them with Phil and also saw his band 'The Bastard Sons' a few times... amazing guitarist.

There's another musical hero gone... ain't getting old just shite?   :'(

Err, don't you mean Phil Campbell? Sad news either way, now there's no-one left alive from the lineup I saw back in 1990, which makes me feel really old...

Ah, heck, I didn't even notice that!   :-\

I must have been very overcome with grief and not, you know, had a couple of drinks too many after a long day at work...  ;)
