What made me smile / laugh today?  The complete and utter random stuff that comes out of the mouths of kiddies... I was looking after my five year old niece today and, out of the blue, she decided that my name wasn't 'Uncle Ray'  but it is actually 'Mr Barbecue Hummington'... and she insisted on calling me that all afternoon.  I mean, WTF?  Where did that come from?

An old friend of mine from a crappy local band I used to play in is now playing in a 'proper' (and rather good) band (ie one with a record deal, getting great reviews all over the place and making expensive videos like the one beneath)  and I just took delivery of their new album... and he mentions our silly little band in his 'Thanks' credits...
