First time last night seeing some of the songs  played live and they did sound great. I cannot remember a tour where so many of the songs from the new album went into the set list straight away, it felt like half of the album was played and all went down really well. It's just a great album. Current favourite is weak and strong but it changes regularly - would be good if this was in the live set too I think as it was on the continent.

Surprised at lack of mentions for Strogoula. For me the impact song of the album, like Dawn was on High. Really strong song that takes me on a voyage of thought. Love it.

It's the album's best song with "Born feral" i think. ;)

Actually, after seeing it live, the title track has jumped up to number one in my favourite list... so much more intense in a live setting.

Saying hello again after a long silence.  the records been waiting at my local record shop (20 miles away) for a month while Leonard Cohen's folk got their act together on releasing his.
So Today I just took a trip to Preston and bought Cohen, Bad seeds and this...this was the first one on...what a great record..

No faves yet obviously..ok, fave so far is the first track...there were some especially moving words there for me.  Apt to me now .

Beginning and Part the Waters!

I love the way Justin sings at times in a loud and angry way in Burn the Castle. Sounds like he nearly spits on face or growls. Cool!

So far it appears to be "die trying". I can't get it out of my head.
I'm geared towards the averagae rather than the exceptional.

After seeing quite a few of the live gigs my favourite has to be Born Feral but as this is one of the strongest albums for a while there's not a weak track at all.

Devil and Drifts live are also excellent
Is is a crime to believe in something different?

I meant what I said at the time that I said it
