Hi, I‘m an Newbie on the board since 2day, cause my girlfriend witch is very active here. Was at the Palladium-Gig in December with witch, was my first NMA-Gig, it was great for me! I hear NMA since 4 moths - since I know witch😂 Normally I come from the Old School-Hip Hop-Corner - but, what should I say - witch now listening Hip Hop too😎 her favorite is House of Pain - Jump around 👍

Hello ChuckD. When Witch said she had a new boyfriend, I thought maybe he is already an NMA fan, and if not, -- he soon will be. Enjoy familiarizing yourself with the large NMA album archive  :)

ChuckD? That guy is from a neighborhood I am quite familiar with. Not the greatest of neighborhoods, but it isn't as bad as some around New York.

Why choose ChuckD as your moniker? He had some good tunes back in the day, but seems, like all artists, his best days were in his youth.

Chuck D alias Carlton Douglas Ridenhour is the Frontman from the legends of Hi Hp group called PUBLIC ENEMY - they wrote Rap and Hip Hop History and they are very political in America. They are on Tour from 1987 till today and release also new Albums - like NMA also do. I am a big fan since 28 years, through witch I learned al lot of NMA - i like it really, and I have shown her some gigs of PE - some tracks she also really likes😎 PE in the last few years more and more switch to Cross-Over-Style, with Live-Band (Bass, Drum, Guitars) like NMA and doing their Rap on it. I see a lot of paralleles between both bands, also in their history

Greetings from  Canada and welcome to the club, ChuckD.   :)   If I may so rude as to ask, which 8 NMA albums did yoou pick up?  Are you going in chronological order or just random.  Do you have a favourite, so far?  Which is it?  How about favourite song(s), thus far?   ???

Thunder and Consolation
Impurity
Raw Melody Men
Between Dog and Wolf
Winter

But I know many more CD's and DVD's from witch - we watch together all the Live-DVD's three times minimum each one ;D
My favorite ist "Night of a thousand Voices" - yesterday we downloaded the Bonus tracks - CD 4 free ;-) Cool stuff!!!

Good man!  ;)  That's a great mix of old and new!  I highly recommend getting "Today Is A Good Day", "Strange Brotherhood", "Lost Songs", and "B-Sides and Abandoned Tracks" next.  You'll have to source that last one elsewhere though.  Not sure why it isn't available via the NMA online shop - not even in digital format - which is odd, but still, it'll definitely be worth the hunt.    :)
