A perfect example of how you turn a rather cheesy song into something truly moving by stripping it right down to acoustic and adding a great voice.

The Manics did some great acoustic/semi-acoustic songs be they their own or covers - 'Bored out of my Mind' is pure class...

Preacher Man - Fields of the Nephilim
...  I never have a clue what these are on about to be honest, but enjoyable in a doomy way  :)
