It's just who I am, nothing more or less.

(my nickname here was Mrloes for a while but some people thought it was like "Mister Loes" so when I got a reply or PM they thought I was a bloke ... which I am not)

I'm a Scunthorpe United supporter and their nickname is The Iron so when I used to watch them at away games they are the Iron On Tour so i decided to use it.

On all the other forums I'm on especially the scooter ones I'm known as Red,a nickname I've had for years.

I asked ages ago to change it to Red on here but it never happened
Is is a crime to believe in something different?

I meant what I said at the time that I said it

My first name is Zenyk.  It's Ukrainian.  My grandparents were from there.  My mates call me Zen for short & I'm male.

ironontour - if you go to your account settings, and then modify settings, you should be able to change your name. Well, I believe, as I've never done so myself!

I also thought it was due to Maiden by the way 8)

I used to do a zine called In Darkness, There Is No Choice and when I joined the Profane Existence forum I chose the name Ian In Darkness. Later on I shortened it to Darkness. I use it on all forums I post on.
Tonight, as you stare at the ceiling again
With your lover turning away
Disappointment closing in
Like the walls... and you try...
You try to talk about love
And they put their arms around you
But you still feel all alone
Wonder why...

Well, my parents chose that name for that individual I was going to be once out of my mother's belly... 8)

It's rather nice since it refers to the roman god of forests!

Fairly simple for me, I've been called Spud for nigh on 25 years since I joined the Navy (surname Murphy), and as such, the 'mariner' bit should be obvious...... ;D

REDP are my initials, and altering it slightly to RedP suits my political orientation ;)

Actually, I was originally given the initials DERP, but have always been known by the 'R' (Richard). I used to encounter endless confusion because I was known by my third name (bureaucracies in particular couldn't handle that), so it made sense to change the order. But hey, you can call me Richard!
