Thought I had nothing to do on Christmas Eve tomorrow (one of my favourite social nights in years gone by) and then an old pal, who I haven't seen in two years, got in touch out of the blue and suggested Christmas drinks at our favourite pub...

My previous post... tonight got even better when another friend of ours showed up, totally out of the blue... we hadn't been together in over a decade.  Fun times ensued.

This is turning into a better Christmas than I thought it would be.

We've had a nice Christmas eve day before yesterday (it's on 24th in here) at my wife's parent's place. Everything went fine. Well my sis was at a cruiser at the sea, and I missed a bit my father and his wife as they're 600 kms away at northern savonia. But there's still some time left. Look, it's only Fri now and today was the second Christmas day, and tomorrow's "Tapaninpäivä" (uh, well how'd you folks call it?) Lol, whatever. The weekend is just starting.

Until this evening we returned back to our home and there's a dropper I know: it's a nearly traditional winter storm taking over right now! I already checked my saw is it ready in a case of emergency for tomorrow. The winds are blowing hell hard now and I don't dare to even open a computer. *hands crossed*

Nearly ready to welcome the winter coldness.  Wished it would come as it's always calming these autumn storms.

We're in Northern Savonia district now.

It's -17c° out now, but not snow nearly at all. The lake is going iced and makes huge noises. "BUMmmm!" It's like shooting with a cannon or something. You could hear that inside a house too. This is awesome.

We're going skiing to the Tahko fell today and see my aunt later on.

Can agree with that Pol. I always look forward to crimbo, then always get fed up of sitting around stuffing my face. One of the best bits of crimbo is being relieved its all over.
