I used to hate the first day back at school... But If I turned up with a new pair of rugby boots. That was another story! That's too long ago now.

Anyway, as a Northamptonian I reserve the right to say anything I please about boots and shoes!

Managed to partially lay a few ghosts from the past to rest on Saturday. Long story but met a ex friend who I hadn't spoken to for maybe 15 years, kinda ended up feeling sorry for him as he had fckd his life up n was still a piss n hash head. One thing that's great about The Dreaded Facebook is that I've connected with people who were close friends in the 90's (or even beyond) and had several really amazing nights out with them... people drift apart, no matter how good their friendship is and sometimes for the silliest of reasons.  And to reactivate that old friendship and laugh about the daft stuff that seems so irrelevant now... I love it.

Wtch, have a great time in Bradford, the weather here is really quite horrible at the moment, I have heard even Alaska has better weather at the moment. 

Had been feeling a bit under the weather for a while but it seems that is a thing of the past now - so that definitely makes me happy. I have the first of four 10k runs coming up on Saturday and was a bit worried I might not be able to make it. Looks like I'll still be able to take part and bring up the rear, as usual, with a cheerful wave and a big grin.

Went to my first Physio session yesterday and it felt really great.
So screaming out in pain spasms at all yesterday.
Did all my stretches and exercises this morning and all seem well so far today.

Having a curry with my Dad on his birthday today and hearing how his recent health problems seem to be fading into insignificance... 

Mind you, the old bugger goes to the gym EVERY day!  Takes yoga, pilates and, get this, cycle-spinning classes!  He's nearly 70 and he's in better shape than I am!

Pains me to say it, but have to agree. Very impressive the Leicester lads. Makes a change to have a different team at the top.
