Eagle owl, wow. I've heard they've been transported to uncommon new territories for "jobs". It's not so wise to do but they'll certainly do a dirty job as they prey on things smaller than little dogs.

I've maybe shown this earlier but here's a video about an Eagle owl that posed for a camera at the top of a main post house in Helsinki:

Think that their size can be up to 80cms and age of 60 years...

The school was closed to children today because it's used as a polling station so after a quick "training session" we were free to do whatever jobs we needed to do in class.
I used my time to do some half hearted paper work and talk to my work partner Mrs Ferazz. Turns out that in her younger life she was a famous TV news anchor lady back in her home country of Brazil !!

It's a holy day. Yesterday and today. Midsummer festivities and everyone enjoys it so much. Heeps of food, unbelievable amounts of delicacies and booze. It's this time that the whole Finland is heavily drunk and feasts a pagan festival!
