Booking the Strathdon again, Nowt left there on booking.com so had to use late-rooms . Quite a bit more expensive than before ie £90 this time. Could maybe have looked elsewhere but I'm comfortable with there ie getting from the train station n back n to the gig . Would advice anyone thinking of staying there to book just now. Remember its a book now and pay on the day deal, so even if your skint it makes sense

Glad your settling in Anna , good to have a more friendly relaxed style of life. Kinda thought it strange here at first when people would say hello that you didn't know but so realised that they were just being friendly.

Started my language course today at night school, jeez I forgot what it was like to focus the brain and work it hard. It's really cool though, folk from Spain, Romania, Poland, Hungary, China, Mexico, Lithuania, Australia and of course me from England: gotta love this inter-connected world we live in  Sure made a nice change from all the DIY and decorating (but don't get me started on German bleedin' doors) which is all coming on a treat. Oh and read this and weep smoker people: 300g of cigarette tobacco, filter tubes all for 30 euros - thats about 500 fags
