Well I always tend to think my further plans during this period of year. Soon the year is over and there's time to think things a little bit further for a while. If I don't count my usual do's and don'ts at our courtyard, it will take few months and we should paint my working room. First removing old paint. New paints will probably cost about 1000€... Ok, we should buy a warehouse to the "garden". Also, I'll need new winter tires to my car. And repair the cars. And.... wait a minute. It's "what makes you happy" thread ain't it? Ok, I'd be happy if it all will become true.

Well to be fair, I'm not sure anyone of you are interested in the logging stuff I keep complaining about? (Maybe Anna might know what I mean.) Ok, it was a pity that the snow storm damaged the forests here so hard. At least it's nothing that I'd cheer here. Nearly EVERY pine and birch' tops fell off. The road that leads here from a big highway is 2,5 km's distance and along that there is about 40 trees that fell down. Fortunately spruces maintained their position, but there are about 13 birches in our courtyard and five of them are cut from middle due to massive weight of snow we had on Tuesday and Wendsday...   

If there's something that I'd cheer now here is we only have a little amount of birch here and we've saved them for future plans until logging them to firewood. Now I think there's a good time to do some of them. Birch has one of the best of heat of combustion.

I cooked quinoa steaks stuffed with seaweed, lupine, smoked pepper, crushed soya grain and heaps of garlic. Yummy.

We adopted yet another dog last Sunday...a 14-year-old Retriever mix from Italy, abandoned by her owners.

She has severe arthritis and is a bit incontinent - but she is such a sweet thing and we hope that, with the right medication, we can give her a couple of happy months with us. We got her through an awesome organisation we already adopted a dog from in March...and they are paying for her vet bills since they are happy she still found a home.

Her name is Angel, btw.  Seems quite fitting.

Counting 5 dogs (one of them only temporary as his owner is in hospital), 4 rabbits and 7 guinea pigs. Crazy busy - but to see them all happy sure makes us happy, too.

A check from Scottish power apparently a refund for my old flat ( fck knows why I had a pre payment meter)  but gift horses etc . Not saying how much but enough for a cpl of hours in the tattoo chair or right night out , probably nearly enough to cover hotel and rail for a away day gig
