1)  Seconded.......keep up the bass..i admire anyone who can play an instrument.When i was young i tried to learn guitar several of my friends were/are good guitarists in local bands/solo etc.No matter how hard i tried it just would not click..........decided my brain was'nt wired that way

2) Also the bats are back......for the last few years we have had two bats living in the eaves of an old warehouse next to our flats,loved going out at dusk and watching their amazing aerial acrobatics...but last year they were gone and i thought that was it,but no i was on the roof the other night and there were two bats........watched them for ages and every night since.. ....

And bats are awesome, I'm glad you have your neighbouring bats back

I've also been happy to witness the return of a bird - I have no idea which bird it is but I call it "The Pizza Bird". I hadn't heard it for ages but now it's back! Also no idea how it looks like, I just hear it. Seems to enjoy sitting somewhere on the tree branches in front of my neighbouring Chinese restaurant and sing - always sounding the same, the same amount of syllables, sounding like it keeps saying "pizza-pizza-pizza-pizza!!!". Thus, The Pizza Bird.

Hmm... I'm quite confident I'd recognize a great tit... Lol, I actually downloaded an app called BirdNet, which is like shazam but for birds  (yes, I do have a smartphone..finally  ) waiting for an opportunity to record and identify my pizza bird!

Talking about smartphones... for people like me who rather avoid basic social media giants and who love (mostly heavier) music and would like to stay up to date what their favourite artists are up to, here's a brilliant app called Bandbond - you simply choose which bands to follow and ta-da; all of their social media posts from twatter, facebook and instagram come to your feed without you needing to bother go &check everything! How handy! It's not perfect yet, lots of bands are not on their menu yet, but every week they have a "Wishlist Wednesday" when they announce new added bands and you can wish your favourites... Why I started writing this is because, every Wednesday I've commented "*cough* New Model Army"....week ago I wrote longer comment why they should ad NMA...aaaand today they did!!!

I see that Steven Wilson is getting Porcupine Tree back together and have a new song out and are looking  to tour in 2022. Having seen their last show in NYC in 2010 an 11 year hiatus and Steven saying that PT was in the past and he was liking the freedom of having different  musicians play in his 6 solo albums it is great to see him get back together  with the other band mates minus the Bass player .Next to NMA this was one of my favorite  bands to see live.

Not that I used to post a lot, I have to admit this, but I used to come here daily and check out the posts...and then...dunno...

I really hope everyone is doing as well as can be expected - everything's fine in my neck of the woods which I am very grateful for.
