  Oooh...looks like more and more people are back! 

That sure makes me happy - and then...the time of year. Generally speaking as I am more of a winter person - and then this has got to be my favourite time of year for the evening walks with the dogs...breathing in the cold air and looking at the ever increasing number of lights in the windows and front gardens.

If you can make yourself forget about the harsh statistics and reality - which is much easier in the dark - it's all so lovely and cozy and peaceful. ❤️ I think it is ok to simply forget about what may really lie behind those windows and just enjoy the dreaming, the peace and the lovely lights
With our dog Gracie as your companion ( we have five dogs and, if I am on my own, which I do enjoy, I go for more than one walk so it doesn't end up being too chaotic  ) you would be foolish to lose yourself in illuminated evening dreaming for too long - the awakening can be sudden and rude 😜 - but I still really love it.

Very happy that today is my last day at work for 2021...which, obviously, sounds much more impressive than it actually is.  No complaints, though, I am looking forward to a couple of hopefully peaceful days, lovely dogwalks and quality time spent with family and friends.
Hopefully, if nothing changes, we can continue our "tradition" where our friend from Belgium is coming over for a couple of days and to celebrate New Year. It didn't happen last year and with the situtation being what it is...let's say I'll believe it when she gets here. We have all been vaccinated 3 times, so all good in that respect.

The not so good thing will be helping a dear friend pack up her stuff in her old flat on Monday to be picked up by the movers on the 5th. She and her husband have split up after more than 30 years...and the situation is quite unpleasant so we don't quite know what to expect from him that day. 
I shall be prepared and refuse to put up with any sort of crap - but I'd prefer for things to remain civilised.

All of you: take good care, happy holidays for you and yours, I hope you can all have a lovely time - and fingers crossed for a healthy 2022 - with some gigs thrown in.

Last night I watched WDR Rockpalast - From Here 40 years of NMA  -and parts of the concerts following`til 06.00 tthis morning,
today I continue with Rockplast Philipshalle 1990 - hee, how much power they and  the tribe had those days! Fine against this Corona-blues I feel every day ...

I have to say that the additional German dates are making me quite happy 

Just bought 2 tickets for Düsseldorf - glad I won't have to wait until December after all. ;-)

Things that made me happy lately?
- Even though I got rather unfairly fired, that meant they had to pay me half a year of wages to get rid of me
- The b.. person who got me fired, got fired
- Because of the great severance pay, I was able to chill quite a few months
- I got the first job I applied to, thanks to my experience and knowledge the previous company was happy to pay to get rid of because of that back-stabbing.. person
- In my new job I have sooo many less responsibilities for the same money, I'm amazed, I feel like on a holiday at work
- I had money to buy the five-string bass guitar I've wanted for ages, she's beautiful!
- I was able to sort out my work days to go to a festival, and to my surprise having two days off after the festival, well needed!!!
