Looks like I'm now deffo gonna go to the Spring UK tour, when they're doing INFERNAL LOVE (my personal favourite) in full...

I just bought tickets to see The Cure in November 2016 ;D That's what I call planning in advance.

Ticket prices are so outrageous these days - but with The Cure you know that, at least, they are going to play for a couple of hours. ;-)

Therapy? Kiel was great (in your words- best gig ever)  ;)
And me, I`ve got a black place in my heart
Still got this hole in me

Ordered mine for Cologne today. Saw them only once back in 1996, didn't really get into their last few records, except for Bloodflowers. Nevertheless really looking forward - come on, what's a year of waiting ;)

Yesterday I ordered tickets for a young Norwegian artist called Aurora (Askens) playing in Dortmund next February. One of her songs, Running with the Wolves, is used in a recent Vodafone TV commercial here in Germany and last Friday she did a wonderful live acoustic performance of that song on german TV show "Inas Nacht" which really got me. Such a lovely girl with one of the most amazing voices around. Her other songs are really worth listening to as well. Not exactly what I usually have in my playlist to but definitely something to broaden one's musical horizon.

Guido, I will be in Cologne as well. I do agree about their last releases, even Bloodflowers didn't have me too convinced - but they always play such an extensive set that there will be enough time for all the good stuff.  :D

I have heard "Running with the wolves"- I like it a lot, seems such a waste of a beautiful song - but it sure is good for her. I will have to check out her other songs.

Oh, the magnificent gentleman that is Suggs is doing one of his one-man-shows at the lovely theatre just five minutes from my flat in May... this looks like a fun night out... a mixture of comedy and spoken-word... here's a clip, the show has great reviews...

Tickets for Hamburg would have cost 83 EUR...sorry guys...no way.
I'm sure it will be good though :)

Enjoy the Sisters, seen them twice now, always a good night among good folks.  Be sure to refresh yourself with their back catalogue, when I saw them in October they played plenty of old / rare stuff... also new and unreleased stuff, dammit WHEN are we going to get this stuff officially released?  Here's the excellent 'Arms' if you've never heard it...

Also be prepared for one or two songs to just collapse for no good reason... it's kind of a Sisters tradition...  ;)

I will see Low. A band recommended to me by NMA's sound guy. I am glad he did too!

After a slow start last year with Placebo in March being my first gig, this year has started better with Henry Rollins in Manchester on Tuesday, so looking forward to that.  I saw him in 2012 and he was excellent.  In February I've got Bob Mould in Manchester and then in March Peter Hook at The Tivoli in Buckley, happy days  :D

Enjoy the Rollins spoken-word gig, they're always excellent, can't make Manchester unfortunately...  :'(
