The Dead Zone, one of the better Stephen King adaptations (although not nearly as good as the book...)

I liked the book but the film is...WOW! Probably my favourite Cronenberg movie!
Christopher Walken is soooo good in this film, and the supporting actors too: Brooke Adams, Herbert Lom, Tom Skerritt.
It's a great tale of fate and loss, harrowing choices of everyone in life...the ending is just great, this last shot, last words and then fade to black/end credits with this great music... tears in my eyes each time i watch the film!!

Just watched Romper Stomper again. but then Russell Crowe in the lead role (quite a few years before his mega-stardom) is immensely charismatic...
In my opinion Russell Crowe's best performance is in "The Insider", he should have won the academy award for this movie and not for "Gladiator"..
Wonder Woman was pretty cool, though.
The track for her character was pretty cool!

American Werewolf... my very favourite horror movie ever. The perfect mix of comedy and horror. And Jenny Agutter... *sigh*. Her character was a personification of everything that's great about the NHS.
It's one of my favourite horror movies too, probably John Landis's best film.
It's darkly funny, scary and also a tragic story, it's a brillantly written and acted movie (i also liked Jenny Agutter's presence in "The Survivor")...and these special effects, of course...the good old days of awesome practical, make up effects...best werewolf transformation scene EVER!...viva Rick Baker!!
Another pretty good Landis horror movie is "Innocent blood".
