MotoGp - Italy - round 6 . Best race of the season so with Lorenzo ( Yamaha) taking it right on the line for Marc Marquez (Honda) by 2 thousands of a second. With Valentino Rossi blowing his engine. Lorenzo now leads Marquez by 10 points in the championship

Just watched the first episode of PREACHER.  Excellent. Great fantasy show with Dominic Cooper (The Devils Double) as a priest infused with power from a supernatural entity and Joe Gilgun (This Is England) as his vampire best mate... think this will be a good 'un. Trailer here...

The Dead Zone, one of the better Stephen King adaptations (although not nearly as good as the book...)

The brothers Grimsby....or Grimsby.
Gotta a panning by the critics but I thought it was very funny. Fair play Mark Strong!!
Hala (from the Anglo-Saxon word "halh", meaning nook or remote valley), until it was gifted by King Henry II to Welsh Prince David Owen and became known as Halas Owen

Ha, watched that one late last night!

You're right, a lot of it is lowest-common-denominator humour and way beyond tasteless, but I laughed out loud several times.  NSFW trailer...

Well worth a look if you're into the idea of elephant bukkake.   ;D

I liked the book but the film is...WOW! Probably my favourite Cronenberg movie!
Christopher Walken is soooo good in this film, and the supporting actors too: Brooke Adams, Herbert Lom, Tom Skerritt.
It's a great tale of fate and loss, harrowing choices of everyone in life...the ending is just great, this last shot, last words and then fade to black/end credits with this great music... tears in my eyes each time i watch the film!! :'(

Just watched Romper Stomper again.  but then Russell Crowe in the lead role (quite a few years before his mega-stardom) is immensely charismatic...

In my opinion Russell Crowe's best performance is in "The Insider", he should have won the academy award for this movie and not for "Gladiator"..

Wonder Woman was pretty cool, though.

The track for her character was pretty cool! :)

American Werewolf... my very favourite horror movie ever.  The perfect mix of comedy and horror.  And Jenny Agutter... *sigh*.  Her character was a personification of everything that's great about the NHS.   ;)

It's one of my favourite horror movies too, probably John Landis's best film.
It's darkly funny, scary and also a tragic story, it's a brillantly written and acted movie (i also liked Jenny Agutter's presence in "The Survivor")...and these special effects, of course...the good old days of awesome practical, make up effects...best werewolf transformation scene EVER!...viva Rick Baker!!
Another pretty good Landis horror movie is "Innocent blood".

That new Dad's Army movie.  Better than I thought it would be, not as good as the original TV series (obviously, that's a bloody classic!) but an enjoyable watch with the roles very well re-cast (who else could play Sargeant Wilson other than Bill Nighy?).  Trailer...

I'd give it a go if you're after a light, fun watch...

Aw, sorry, misread 'disc 3' as 'episode 3'....  ::)

There are 13 episodes in the last season of SOA.

Just found all 5 seasons of 'Being Human' (the UK version, not the crap US one) on Netflix.  Love that show, one of the best UK shows of the last decade, it's funny, violent, so well-acted and just a cracker of a show... highly recommended, trailer for the first series here...
