Brother Odd - Dean Koontz. I've read a couple of the previous Odd Thomas books a while back and so I gave it a go - pretty readable as usual but nothing special at the moment.

Also reading This Changes Every Thing - Naomi Klein. Bit of a heavy old topic this one but she seems to be quite an engaging writer - we'll see if I make it through to the end  ;D

Seveneves  - Neal Stephenson.

In parts great, in parts long winded. Great storyline, but for once perhaps should have been split into two books

I'm currently (re) reading "When God Was A Rabbit" by Sarah Winman.  It's quite odd but very emotive; I think it's a book that you identify with if you have something dark inside you.  It's not a dark book but anyone who's experienced any sort of heartbreak or psychological difficulty will perhaps feel an impact.

I am reading "Fighting the Kaiser's war, The Saxon's in Flanders 1914-1918". A very well researched in-depth study of of soldiers from Saxony who largely fought against the British lines. Personal accounts and memories.

Finished Brother Odd - ok but nothing special.

Still going with This Changes Everything in small daily doses - lots of food for thought there.

Also started We Need To Talk About Kevin by Lionel Shriver and it's gripping stuff.

Stephen Kings new compilation of short stories, 'The Bazaar Of Bad Dreams'...

I have to say, I prefer his short stories / novellas to his full length-novels these days...
