Well my experience of the HSBC as a business bank as I grew the company has been fantastic. Local bank manager who is brilliant as she has worked with me and given me fair interest loans over the years to grow the business. They are responsive to the business needs. So I think blanket condemnation is a big harsh.  I get what you are saying about the speculators, but they are not the whole story. :)

Tell you what pissed me off. Forget the tax credits legislation which was not thought out at all well. The Lords, jobs given to them by birth or because they've paid for them by being on the public purse all their lives voting out legislation when they are not voted in. We may not like politicians, but individually the buggers have to stand up every four years and beg for our vote.

As I said put the legislation aside, as I'm sure you are happy about it failing. But the act is anti democratic and next time it could be legislation you care about!

Why has modern life became so dependant on having a bank account. No body pays wages in cash ok I get the security aspect then again hackers v bank robbers n security van heists. So easy to pay with debit card n PayPal etc, will cash become almost obsolete in the not too distant future. Think about it what do you actually need cash for, where I am the bus and few small independent shops.

Agree with you on the tax credits thing, Idopas... it's a way of getting people off of benefits and taking on low-paid work and still make ends meet... who the fook could think that it was a bad idea?   ::)

I've never been the biggest fan of the lords, but doesn't show just how far out of touch the government are about tax credits, that for the first time in over 100 years they decided to vote against the government on a financial matter. For people to lose nearly £40 a week when they are already struggling is simply disgusting. Maybe we need a second house made up from a cross section of society to prevent things like this. Surely nobody thinks this is the right thing

I was talking about personal banking and ineptitude in changing a standing order actually, which meant the daft buggers paid my rent twice 1 day before I went into hospital so I don't think you got what I was saying at all  ;D

Bought a new mobile phone last week on EE (UK mobile phone network), specifically for pay as you go, I use my phone for little else than texts, £10 credit will last me two or three months... they tried to sell me on some big package / plan, I said no, went away with my new phone...

Yup, I was signed up to some package / plan that I didn't agree to.  Rang up to cancel and, wow... EE's customer attitude is 'The customer is always WRONG'  :o  No matter what I said, they countered with 'Yes, but...' and tried to sell me another fuckin' package / plan!  Like I'm some idiot who doesn't know what he wants!   >:(

Got it sorted out in the end but, UK folks, stay the hell away from EE...

Went to my doctor today coz Im felling a bit ill since one week ands  my doc told me your Tattoo looks so scary and awfull will you remove it ? makes me really angry  >:( I thought my doc can think about it but he has no right too jugdge me? ( hope that the right word in english ....
