Wanted to post a song I`m listening now-I wanted to post this one
Part of the lyrics - It´s cold outside, it`s dark and it is raining, it`s cold (dark) outside, not that I`m complaining
But I can`t remember more (should be the voice of Eric Burdon) of the song/voice now
and goockle doesn`t help me >:(
Do I have I have "Alzheimer"?
And me, I`ve got a black place in my heart
Still got this hole in me
Perhaps - I am the master of nothing?

Perhaps it`s a live version of Tobacco Road I remember and mixed the lyrics, so I can`t find this special one :(

Here is a link to a version I`m writing

And this old song (and lyrics) stands for democracy and freedom and equal rights (not for selfkilling and other things in the name of "?"happening today)
And me, I`ve got a black place in my heart
Still got this hole in me
Perhaps - I am the master of nothing?

Visiting my 90 year old mum in a care home and the carer asks if I've come to see my sister :-[ :-[ :-[

Ooof, Dilla, that's a bad one.  Hope your mum is doing well.

On a similar note, a while back I was pushing my little niece on the swings at a local play park and someone with their own kid said 'aw, your granddaughter's so cute...'

FFS, I'd have been OK with 'daughter'!  Only mid 40's which, yes, is 'technically' old enough to be a granddad, but the automatic assumption???  How clapped out do I actually look these days?  Actually, you folks who have met me, better not answer that...  :-[

When you don't know exactly how many time you saw this band or this one, or say "I'd like to saw them !" but you did... in this case it's probably excess, not age...

I know what you mean.  I really like the band Muse, but have never gotten around to seeing them live...

... but a friend of mine pointed out, a while back, that I actually did, as a support act in the 90's... apparently, I thought they were excellent.   :-\

When every bit of you aches after two days of painting and sanding. Mind you a 3 yr old that sleeps 6 hours a night doesnt help.
Hala (from the Anglo-Saxon word "halh", meaning nook or remote valley), until it was gifted by King Henry II to Welsh Prince David Owen and became known as Halas Owen

Sanding really takes it out on your hands and arms, kinda similar to wall paper stripping
