Joining a new Official Forum for a favourite band of mine (with an equally fervent fan-base) and being an utter newbie with no idea of who is who and whatever they're talking about and what they think...  on this Forum I have a pretty good idea of the opinions of the cast-list, but it's genuinely amusing to be a new virginal poster...   :D

The bus getting delayed today by sheep on the road, thankfully I wasn't in a hurry and it wasn't too long before the farmer came and put them back in the field or this might have made another thread

There's been a sort of hulabaloo of a new improved term in social media about people with angry looks; the "resting b***h". Come on, does someone get paid about creating these artificial ridiculous terms??

Well, besides that I could actually fill all the qualifications easily. It concerns both guys & gals.

Was going to say I go out my way to be polite and generally nice but its just a natural thing to be honest , I do appreciate that when you have a shaved head, tattoos and wear boots etc that some people might get intimidated, never judge a book by its cover I guess. Same rules when get someone in a smart suit etc and there a ignorant prick , how many times has that been the case  ?

Pol, despite your 'controversial' look, I can vouch for you as a truly good guy and a person I'm proud to call a friend.  Plenty of awful people hide their sheer soul-deep unpleasantness in smart clothing and a nice haircut.  **** those wankers.   ;)

Cheers ray , guess I own you another pint lol

I seem to recall, from Nottingham, that Shush bought you a pint, handed it to me and we subsequently lost each other in the general melee before I could bring it to you and it *might* have been spilt... and when I say 'spilt', I might mean 'went straight down my throat'...  :-\

I think we're even.   ;)

This reminds me of walking up Buchanan street in Glasgow ( probably the busiest in Scotland) about a year ago and this guy in a smart suit bumps into me accidentally but instead of saying sorry he just goes to walk on saying nothing, so I let him know its the polite and proper thing to say sorry or excuse me

... and when you say that, did you mean 'kicked his smug, arrogant ass into the kerb?'

Not that I'm advocating such a thing, that would make me a terrible person...

A pub meet with friends / bandmates from a long time ago, haven't been around a table for damn near twenty years...

... and this might sound like an odd thing to smile or laugh about, but one of our number finally admitting that he was, ahem, 'knocking off' my then-girlfriend for a while...  :o

I just laughed my arse off when he told me.  To hell with her, it was one of those mind f-ing, awful relationships that my earlier and more shallow / pretentious self misunderstood as being 'love'  :-\, I'm sure we've all had similar, she was bad news from the start and this just confirmed that I was well rid of her.  Yet another bit of emotional baggage lost!   :D

He was less happy when I told him about what me and his Mum were getting up to at about the same time ...   :o

(that. was. a. joke.)
